Our castle is where tenderness is the only approach towards our children and the child feels happy, safe and nurtured. We are always available to cater for parent’s concern. As we are excited to welcome our lovely kids this SY 2020-2021, we make sure to give them safe environment. Because their health and safety are our main priority. 

History and Founder

Ibtehaj AlAmirkani “TETA” as everyone called her; is a Jordanian Citizen. She has a degree in GRAPHIC DESIGN and 15 years experience in teaching.  

Teta has got a degree in Child Development and an extensive experience in teaching, in 2015 she established Cuddle Castle nursery in Doha. Now with the growing number of children, Cuddle Castle nursery is one of the most successful nurseries in Al Dafna Doha Qatar. Cuddle Castle Nursery believes that the goal of childhood education is to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn , that is why we are following Montessori Curriculum , a method of education that is based on self –directed activity, independence , hands –on learning and collaborative play.  

Teta established Cuddle Castle Nursery out of her desire to create a second home for the children where they feel safe, loved and nurtured. She is aware of the parents’ struggle to leave their children in the care of others. With her vision as a nursery founder and having a child –loving crew, she is confident that we are providing the best environment a growing child may ever need.  

Teta is an artist not only in terms of profession but also in the heart. She has participated in 27 artworks, including an exhibition of the Shafallah Center in Izdan. When you visit our nursery you will see drawings and paintings all around the castle. All of these drawings are personally painted by Teta. She also loves making art and paintings with children and till now she is still keeping and displaying some of our children’s artworks in our art room.

Montessori Curriculum

There is nothing quite like the authentic Montessori Method for early childhood education. This unique approach enables children to discover their true potential and develop an organized, engaged, and focused mind. The Montessori experience prepares them to be curious, lifelong learners, as well as good citizens, future innovators, and able leaders. The Montessori curriculum covers five key learning areas including: practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language and culture.

Working Mother Service

Being a mom isn’t an easy job, and it’s definitely not a job for everyone. Raising a child while performing other duties and responsibilities is a lot to handle. So to make it easy for you all you have to do is to drop your child off as he is at Cuddle Castle Nursery and trust our team.

Under the Supervision of Ibtehaj Amerkani “Teta”, we do have a well-trained and qualified Staff that work very hard to meet the needs of the child’s physical, sociological and psychological development.  Our Staff are aligned with our Nursery Vision “to provide a second home for children where Safety, Hygiene and Care are a priority”.

Our Facilities

Providing a safe learning environment for children requires comfortable facilities. Cuddle Castle Nursery offers spacious Montessori classrooms designed to provide a comfortable, educational, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for children. We do also have other facilities such as: kitchen, Indoor and Outdoor Play Area, Exploration room, Mini garden, Cinema room, Art room, Library, Sleeping room, Sensory /Session room, Emergency room.

Potty Training

You think that your Child is big enough to be off of diapers?  We will help you get rid of the DIAPERS. Most children will be ready by 2 – 3 years old without causing distress to the parents.You can discuss it to the management  and to the Teachers. Let us know when you have begun training your child at home, after your child has been training at home for about a week, we will begin the potty training in the Nursery. You will receive a daily report regarding the progress of the potty training through our application.

Hygiene and Safety

Health and safety of our children is our main priority. At Cuddle Castle Nursery we have a Nurse to look after the well being of our kids. We also have a monthly checkup from a paediatric doctor, and fire drill training to guide our kids on what to do in case of emergency. We also teach our children the importance of self care and hygiene. The proper way of washing their hands and the importance of brushing teeth.

Healthy Eating

Healthy eating starts with healthy food choices. We all know how important it is for a child during his development to have balanced meal. Here at Cuddle Castle Nursery, we encourage healthy eating habits. Chocolate and sweets are not allowed. We encourage our children to eat healthy food through various leisure activities such as cooking, bringing their favorite fruits and also by appreciating them and encouraging them to eat healthy food because children love to be appreciated and parents who prepare healthy meals for their children should be cherished as well.

Special Sessions

We provide sessions such as speech therapy and sensory motor skills for special needs children. A Sensory/ Session room is available for them.  In some circumstances we also have meeting seminars with special needs parents. We have a Psychologist and a Speech Therapist to provide SPECIAL PROGRAMS for Children with Special Needs under Al-Sanabel Specialized Psychiatric Center Supervision.

Library…. Reading Books Is Always Fun

Telling stories is a lot of fun, indeed kids love to sit down and listen to stories whether it is a fairytale, a myth or anything else. This will make them feel loved, cared for, and just a lot closer to you than before.

Listening to stories helps improve key areas like memory and language skills, it sparks curiosity which increases the child’s cognitive and imaginative skills, and it gives the child new perceptions to the world around them every single time . Here in our library we have variety of books that our kids will surely love to share with their friends and teachers.

A  Parent friendly application (I care kids) to receive Daily, Monthly, Quarterly report about your Child development, Accompanied with daily Photos.

Gardening

Planting a garden is the faith of tomorrow. Gardening is a healthy, fun activity for children that teach them the value of life and the best way to connect with nature. It is also an interactive playground for kids that will engage all of their senses. Planting seeds teaches children Reliability and responsibility as they learn to care for their plants daily. Kids love watering the plants and see how it grows from seeds to beautiful plant. Through this activity children will learn about plant parts and needs. They will learn about the importance of plants in our lives.

Montessori Curriculum

Practical Life Activities

Practical Life activities help children learn how to care for themselves and their environment. These activities help children to become more independent, leading to greater self-confidence, and the ability to face new challenges. Practical Life exercises include lessons in grace and courtesy, care for self, and care for the environment.

Mathematics

Mathematical concepts are introduced to the child using concrete sensorial materials. Initial explorations with sensorial materials encourage children to understand basic math’s concepts such as learning number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence and sequencing of numbers.

Sensorial

Sensorial materials were designed by Doctor Maria Montessori to help children express and classify their sensory experiences. The purpose of sensorial activities is to aid in the development of the intellectual senses of the child, which develops the ability to observe and compare with precision. Activities often include matching and grading materials that isolate the sense of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell.

Language

Language materials are designed primarily to enhance vocabulary and explore both written and spoken language. Through language-based activities, such as the sandpaper letters and the moveable alphabet, children learn phonetic sounds and how to compose words phonetically. They progress using phonetic sounds and learn to communicate their unique thoughts and feelings.

Culture

Cultural activities lead the child to experience music, stories, artwork and items from the child’s community, society and cultural background.. The culture area encourages children to develop their capacity for creation, and develop fine motor skills. Whilst learning to freely express themselves. Through cultural activities, children develop an awareness and appreciation of the world around them.

Facilities

Our Montessori classrooms are designed to provide a vast/ spacious independent learning space for children managed by the teacher and her assistants, and equipped with Montessori toys and suitable materials for each age group.

Our Babies room also provides a clean and safe place for our little ones. Every morning the nurse tries to provide our lovely kids with massages to help in the development of the children’s bones and muscles. We also provide many activities to help the children improve the use of their senses, hands and feet.

SLEEPING ROOM

We have darkened the sleeping rooms to keep them quiet and comfortable, and we equipped them with all things the child need, including clean and new sheets and beds. As you know sleep is very important for a child’s development, so children should get proper sleep to replenish/ renew their energy for a day full of activities.

PLAY AREAS

We have indoor and outdoor play areas. These areas are not only for playing but also for physical fitness activities. In the indoor play area we teach our children Yoga, exercises and fitness to help them grow strong, mobile and agile. While in the outdoor area we have sports activities like soccer, ball catching and balance game.

We accept applications from children of all nationalities from 2 months to 4 years old. We receive a certain number of children and places in our classes will be given on first come, first serve basis; so insuring a seat for your child is important.

To register your child at Cuddle Castle Nursery, please provide the following admission documents:

1. 2 picturess passport size photo of your Child.
2. Birth Certificate of your Child.
3. Passport and ID copy of Child and Parents
4. Vaccination and Health record of your Child.
5. Copy of Custody stated by the court (in case Parents are divorce)
