DESCRIPTION
In 1996 Al Arqam Academy was established as a private Arabic Primary school for girls. In 2004, keeping pace with educational reforms in Qatar, the school changed to an international English curriculum, combined with progressive Arabic, Islamic Studies, Life Skills and Values programmes. Today the school is a fully accredited Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) centre.
In addition to academics, the school provides students with opportunities to participate in national and international competitions such as the National Quran competition, Scientific Research competition and the World Math competition. Students have a variety of extra-curricular activities and volunteer programs to choose from including inter-scholastic debates, Model United Nations and local charity events. We are especially proud of our students’ efforts to support needy children in Qatar and internationally.
Students of Al Arqam Academy develop a deep respect for their culture and religion that supports their attitudes towards learning and their drive to succeed in having a positive impact on society.
