Stenden University Qatar was established in 2000 under the chairmanship of HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani. Stenden University Qatar offers three internationally accredited four-year signature bachelor programmes in Business Administration with majors in International Business and Management Studies, International Hospitality Management and International Tourism Management. The main campus in the Netherlands designs all study programmes and issues certificates fully recognized by the Supreme Education Council in Qatar.

Additionally, Stenden University Qatar runs an Academic Bridge Programme for students who do not meet the requirements for entering into the full bachelor programme. A defining feature of all programmes is that the practical element forms an important part of the studies. Most topics are covered through the interactive approach of Problem Based Learning. All students need to successfully complete practical trainings and internships during their studies which count toward their study credits. All classes are taught in English language.

All students have to spend a total of two semesters in the Netherlands to complete a part of their studies at the main campus. The university’s graduates are well equipped for the local and international job market as all study programmes are in line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
