Training & Workshop
We used to conduct frequent workshop/training on General Counseling, Youth Leadership programs, Mental Mathematics & Stress Management. Moreover, Kalabhavan Center sought to create an atmosphere of warmth, creativity and fun for children's summer and winter camps.

Classes: Dance, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music (key board, violin, piano, Guitar & Tabla), Martial Arts like Karate and kick boxing.

Courses

Drums

The concept of drums are as old as mankind. A drum is called a membranophone, or an instrument that creates sound by striking a stretched membrane with some type of object, usually a rounded stick. Drums consist of a hollowed-out piece(called the body), a membrane stretched over the end of the drum, and tuning keys or pegs which tighten or loosen the membrane to achieve different tones. Kalabhavan provides exclusive coaching with professional trainers.

Guitar

Have you always wanted to play guitar, but never got around to actually getting started? Here is reason to begin. Learning guitar is a challenge. Guitars are recognized as one of the primary instruments in blues, country, flamenco, rock music, and many forms of pop. They can also be a solo classical instrument

Keyboard (Eastern & Western)

A keyboard instrument is a musical instrument played with a musical keyboard. At Kalabhavan, exclusive training is being provided on electronic keyboards.A musical keyboard is the set of adjacent depressible levers or keys on a musical instrument, particularly the piano. Keyboards typically contain keys for playing the twelve notes of the Western musical scale, with a combination of larger, longer keys and smaller, shorter keys that repeats at the interval of an octave. Depressing a key on the keyboard causes the instrument to produce sounds, either by mechanically striking a string or tine (piano, electric piano, clavichord); plucking a string (harpsichord); causing air to flow through a pipe (organ); or strike a bell (carillon). On electric and electronic keyboards, depressing a key connects a circuit (Hammond organ, digital piano, synthesizer). Since the most commonly encountered keyboard instrument is the piano, the keyboard layout is often referred to as the "piano keyboard".

Tabala

The Tabla is a popular Indian percussion instrument used in the classical, popular and religious music of the Indian subcontinent and in Hindustani classical music.

Violin (Eastern & Western)
The violin emerged in northern Italy in the early 16th century. To this day, instruments from the "Golden Age" of violin making, Kalabhavan solely
promotes towards giving the lessons with perfection.

Classical Dance / Carnatic Music

India’s classical music tradition, including Carnatic and Hindustani Music has a history spanning millennia and, developed over several eras, it remains fundamental to the lives of Indians today as sources of spiritual inspiration, cultural expression and pure entertainment.

Cinimatic Dance

The Kalabhavan is offering training in Western Dance even. The steps are rigorous and spontaneous. All the body parts move according to the beat.
Attention is given more to the choreographing western music. Cinematic Dance has become a popular form of entertainment in the modern era.
Cinematic Dance as it is called is essentially filmy dance in an improvised form. It is a totally care free dance which does not stick to any rules

Drawing & Painting / Water Coloring / Oil Painting

Pencil/Graphite drawing is one of the easiest and least expensive ways in which to begin your art lessons. We will offer lessons in line drawing, shading, perspective, technique, positive and negative space and much more.igments mixed with water rather than with oil and also to the paintings produced by this process. The classes are designed to teach some of the fundamental techniques of watercolor including the basics of drawing, landscapes, still life, and abstracts as well as advanced techniques.

Oil painting is the process of painting with pigments that are bound with a medium of drying oil. Commonly used drying oils include linseed oil, poppy seed oil, walnut oil, and safflower oil. The oil may be boiled with a resin, such as pine resin or frankincense to create a varnish; often prized for its body and gloss. Different oils confer various properties to the oil paint, such as less yellowing or different drying times.

Mural Arts

The Mural Arts Program is an anti-graffiti mural program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1986 and directed by Jane Golden as a division of the Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti Network. Its roots began in a 1984 meeting between Tim Spencer and Golden. Golden asked to run a program within the Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti Network. Spencer envisioned a program that would entice kids towards other arts and crafts, but Golden envisioned what is now the current Mural Arts Program program

Rhythm Pad

An electronic drum is an electronic synthesizer that mimics an acoustic drum kit.The electronic drum usually consists of a set of pads mounted on a stand in a disposition similar to an acoustic drum kit. The pads are discs with a rubber or cloth-like coating. Each pad has a sensor that generates an electric signal when struck. The electric signal is transmitted through cables into an electronic module, which produces a sound associated to the selected pad.

Yoga

The Kalabhavan provides Yoga classes for anyone looking to relax, unwind and improve their flexibility and core strength.

Everyone can practice yoga, regardless of age, ability or fitness level. You’ll learn breathing exercises, physical postures and meditation
techniques to help you develop your flexibility and balance.

Karate

Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Island from indigenous fighting methods. Karate training emphasizes the psychological elements incorporated into a proper attitude such as perseverance, fearlessness, virtue, and leadership skills. At Kalabhavan a high-energy filled positive environment for development of this art is being provided, along with ample opportunity to practice the techniques and drills which are lead by well trained Instructors. At Kalabhavan the Shotokan method of training is employed . The certificates are issued by The Qatar Karate Federation
