The school houses four sections, two of which, are divided on the basis of gender, and the other sections , designated to junior & kindergarten students. These wings are specialized in different ways, to cater to the students belonging to them.
Our school also comprises of a house system, where each student, is affiliated with a particular house, named after famous personalities in Indian & world history. Personalities such as Abdul Kalam, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, and Rabindranath Tagore. Students of these houses compete in various extra-curricular activities in the fields of sports, arts, and sciences, representing their houses, and leading them to victory.

Arabic & Islamic Studies
Moral education is of top priority to the Ideal Indian School and special care is devoted to boost value-based education and character building. The School spares no efforts to motivate children in all developmental activities of school life with out ignoring the moral aspects.
Lessons in Islamic Studies are given to all Muslim children from class 1 and sufficient practical training in Islamic forms of worship is an inevitable part of curriculum. Facility to perform noon prayer is provided for the staff and students of each wing and prayer in congregation is performed during the second recess. Teachers supervise the children taking ablution and make sure all are doing it well as per the Islamic way of doing things according to the teachings of Qur'an and Sunna.
Qualified teachers in Arabic and Islamic Studies are assigned to handle these classes in each wing.

Arabic As A Language
Curriculum
We follow a special curriculum for Islamic studies considering the necessity of children. Lessons in Islamic Studies are based on the books "Studies in Islam by Moulvi Abdul Azeez and Islamic studies by Dr. Bilal Philips" and are supported by Du'as and Islamic manners that form essential part of Muslim's life.
Special Training In Quran Recitation
The school has a qualified Qa'ree to give practical training in Qur'an recitation in each class up to class 8. This facility is currently available only for the boys.
Guest Lectures
Guest lectures on various aspects of Islamic code of life are organised occasionally to motivate children. These lectures are being organized in association with the Qatar Center for the Presentation Of Islam at the Da'wah Department of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. Islamic Scholars visiting Qatar from time to time are also invited for enlightening the Students whenever possible.
Competitions
Competitions in Qur'an recitation, Memorization, Adan, Essay writing, Islamic Quiz are conducted in each termgiving an impetus to the children in learning divine lessons based on the Qur'anic sciences. Winners are honored at special functions, encouraging all to be active on such areas and ensure their participation.
Special Summer Orientation Program
The school organizes special summer orientation programme separately for boys and girls during the summer holidays. This special course is designed in such a way that it will be useful to all levels of children. Classes during this orientation course are conducted in Malayalam and Urdu medium, giving the children more exposure.
Subjects Covered During the Summer Course
Qur'an. Recitation. Memorization and interpretation of selected parts.
Hadith. Selected hadiths pertaining to the character formation and Islamic manners.
Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh). Basic aspects of Islamic forms of worship.
Islamic history. The history of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and the general history of the prophets.
Aqeeda. Basic elements of Islamic belief.
General lectures on health and hygiene, personality development, career planning, etc. are also organized during the summer course.
Arabic As A Language
Apart from being a compulsory part of Islamic Studies Arabic is also offered as second and third language. At present we offer Arabic as a second language from class 1 to 10 and as third language from class 3rd to 8th.
